without the headaches.

Enterprise data centers are filled with mature, battle-tested solutions that offer sophisticated features, promise 100% uptime, and have elegant management options.
The market for small business solutions is equally thriving with plenty of products that fit the corner bakery and the gym down the road.
Enterprise solutions struggle at the edge. Their management is designed for a large number of systems at a small number of locations - the opposite of the edge. This leads to a lot of management overhead and often makes it impossible to use more advanced features - features you paid a significant price for.
Small business solutions on the other hand typically offer a reduced feature set that often fits perfectly for edge environments. However, these solutions lack the ability to manage hundreds or thousands of locations from one pane of glass.
Meet Tekkio
Tekkio was built from the ground up to efficiently run edge environments. To achieve this, our developers have focused on what is essential to run IT services at the edge: management of large numbers of clusters, resilience, and all the features needed to run your container and VM workloads.
Much like Amazon built AWS based on their in-house developed environment, Tekkio is a more polished and flexible version of an in-house developed platform. Built ontop of over a decade of experience, Tekkio uses state of the art technologies and protocols.
At a high level, Tekkio consists of two components: The management portal called TekkioHub and a collection of software working together to create clusters.
Tekkio Daemon for clustering, monitoring, and resiliency services.
A distributed proxy allowing access to workloads running on any node from any other node or client.
A highly resilient, clustered filesystem shared between nodes in a cluster.
Tekkio uses the Linux standard KVM hypervisor to run x86 and x86_64 VM workloads.
Managed by Tekkio, containers can be distributed cluster-wide with ease.
Tekkio is purpose-built for businesses and enterprises managing IT across 10+ edge locations where traditional datacenter products are excessive, and small-scale solutions fall short.
